All of America seemed to be following adorable little Balloon Boy when we first heard the news. We all feared for the boy’s life and we were all disappointed relieved when he heard he was found safe in his garage. Since the incident, there has been a lot of talk about the boy “confessing” on Larry King Live. (I’ve got the video below.)
There was talk of a criminal investigation for a short time, but after speaking with the family, Sherriff Jim Alderden reported that the idea of the incident being a hoax was “inconceivable.”
Now, however, the family has been re-interviewed by CNN and it’s not looking good for this family. The father of little Falcon, Richard Heene, seemed very uncomfortable. He refused to ask his son any more questions about his statement and said he was “appalled” at the accusations.
According to CNN, the incident is being reviewed further, and we may be hearing some “breaking news” about it tomorrow.
We think the fame-whoring family is just looking for more attention, and we agree with the people over at CNN… ”Someone’s going to jail!”
Seriously, they shut down airports for this. The poor boy is six years old, he’s probably so confused.

I believed them in the beginning…mainly because I hate to be skeptical…UNTIL I saw the Larry King Live interview. Those poor kids are being taught to lie. After seeing him on TV, I wonder how they ever bribed that little boy to hide in the attic for so long. Maybe they drugged him? Maybe they tied him up? Maybe they promised him a puppy? It’s really sad.

Oh and one more comment: Watch the 3rd clip at the bottom “I’m appalled at you” and note the older boy’s face when Wolfe Blitzer asks his dad to ask Falcon why he said he did it for the show. The older boy was suddenly VERY attentive…and seemingly worried…as to how his dad was going to answer that request…Those poor kids may be ultimately taken away from their parents. Guess that beats being sucked up by a tornado on one of their storm chases, though.
